A Gainesville-born night market packed with handmade goods, live music, workshops and plenty of creative curiosities is rolling into Broward County.
The Bazaar Florida Tour stops at MAD Arts, 481 S. Federal Highway in Dania Beach, on Saturday, September 12, from 6 to 11 p.m. Tickets are $5 online or at the door.
Bazaar47, formerly known as How Bazar, launched the statewide series to showcase Florida artists in cities beyond its Gainesville home. Its 2026 tour opened at the Casselberry Arts Center near Orlando, drawing 1,200-plus guests and 50 vendors. Dania Beach gets the next turn.
Approximately 40 makers from Broward, Miami-Dade and Palm Beach counties will sell artwork, vinyl records, clothing, baked goods and flash tattoos inside MAD Arts’ sprawling 50,000-square-foot museum and technology hub. Pana MIA Club, Studio UNPLEASANT and Daydream Creative are among the South Florida groups preparing pop-up activities.
The evening’s soundtrack comes from Omni Soundspace, with DJ sets by Bellamar, La Combi, Yianniwa, Keith B and M.A.P. Breakin MIA will host a dance battle and performance, followed by an all-levels movement workshop for guests who decide watching from the sidelines simply will not do.
Hands-on options span painting with Palmas de Luna, Palestinian tatreez cross-stitching with Mar Sublaban, beginner sewing with SonderSewing and printmaking led by Naples-based Masterpeace. Left Shoulder Media will collect contributions for a collaborative artwork responding to ICE.
Elsewhere, Art Club will supply DIY materials alongside music from Miami Community Radio. Local films selected by Subtropic Film Festival, Film.Cen.Tric and Shpshftr Events will fill a projection-mapped room, while Azooma Vine and Verse serves Palestinian dishes.
Bazaar47 owner Laila Fakhoury, who produces the tour with Jahi Khalfani, said the events give creatives room to test fresh concepts before an encouraging crowd.
After Broward, the tour visits Downtown Jax Art Walk in Jacksonville on October 7, Gainesville during The Fest 24 on October 24, a yet-to-be-announced Gulf Coast location on November 21 and Gainesville again for the December 5 finale.
