Omni Fort Lauderdale is setting the table for a seriously delicious debut. The new hotel, rising alongside the freshly expanded Broward County Convention Center and celebrating its ribbon cutting on December 18, just dropped details on seven food and beverage concepts that are about to shake up the city’s dining scene.

And leading the charge is hometown talent Executive Chef Cristian Mosquera, who’s bringing global polish and deep South Florida roots to every menu.

“Bringing this collection of restaurants to life has been an incredibly meaningful process, especially having grown up in Fort Lauderdale,” he tells Browardist. “Each venue was crafted to celebrate the flavors and cultural influences that define South Florida. We can’t wait to welcome guests and share the spaces our culinary team has poured so much heart, creativity and intention into.”

Anchored in flavor and community, the hotel is also giving back before opening day with a donation providing 8,000 meals through Feeding South Florida as part of Omni Hotels & Resorts’ Say Goodnight to Hunger program.

Now, the eats:

  • Reef 76 Kitchen & Bar brings Caribbean-inspired coastal fare and weekend brunch to the lobby level.

  • Fair Ketch levels up the classic sports bar with Topgolf Swing Suites and Everglades-influenced bites.

  • Leeward Market partners with Panther Coffee for pastries, breakfasts, and grab-and-go goodness.

  • Hidden Key offers waterfront lounging with cocktails, fire pits, and lite bites.

  • High Tide, the 10th-floor poolside venue, serves poke bowls, blackened mahi, and frozen cocktails for guests soaking in Intracoastal views.

  • Ibis Sky Lounge, perched on the 29th floor for the 21-and-up crowd, blends global small plates, caviar theatrics, and Cocktail Cartel-crafted drinks.

  • Rounding it out is a refined Italian chophouse, opening in 2026.

With culinary ambition, community focus and prime convention-center real estate, Omni Fort Lauderdale is shaping up to be one of Broward’s buzziest new openings of 2025 and beyond.
