Early Tuesday morning, plenty of South Floridians woke up to what appeared to be the concert announcement of the decade.

Emails from concert discovery platforms including Spotify and Songkick alerted users to a new event called LUXORA Miami, advertising an eye-popping lineup featuring Justin Bieber, Bad Bunny, Harry Styles, Bruno Mars, Maroon 5, Shawn Mendes, Daddy Yankee and several other global superstars at Hard Rock Stadium on Dec. 24.

There's just one problem: virtually nothing about it adds up.

The event currently appears to exist almost entirely through an Eventbrite listing, where tickets reportedly begin at a staggering $2,669. Despite the blockbuster roster, none of the featured artists have announced the festival on their official websites or social media channels. Hard Rock Stadium hasn't promoted it either.

The Eventbrite page promises live performances, DJs, giant LED screens, interactive experiences, food and beverage vendors and neon-themed photo installations at "one of Miami's most iconic locations." The promotional graphic similarly describes a music festival packed with entertainment and immersive attractions.

Could every major pop star on the planet secretly be heading to South Florida for a Christmas Eve mega-festival? Sure. And Broward County could wake up to snow tomorrow.

Until organizers, the venue or the artists themselves make official announcements, we'd put the odds of this actually happening at approximately 0.000000001%.

Still, the listing has generated plenty of conversation across South Florida after notifications landed in inboxes from otherwise reputable concert platforms. For now, it's best to treat LUXORA Miami as a total pipe dream rather than holiday plans.
