Residences will have quite the club to enjoy.

A waterfront lap pool, padel matches and sunset fire pits sound like a solid Fort Lauderdale afternoon, eh? Bahia Mar’s newest announcement puts them on a single private acre — with access reserved for owners of its private residences.

The just-announced Bahia Mar Club is planned for The St. Regis Resort & Residences, Bahia Mar, Fort Lauderdale, with 24-hour resident access and a lineup including workouts, entertaining and family downtime.

“When we looked at the site, we took a step back and asked what would create the ultimate lifestyle for residents through a lens of well-being,” Nick Pérez, president of condominium development at The Related Group, shared exclusively with Browardist. “Very few coastal developments in the world offer homeowners exclusive access to this much private waterfront land.”

Designed by landscape architecture firm EDSA, the club will feature tennis and padel courts, plus a courtside gallery for spectators.

A St. Regis-serviced clubhouse will sit beside a lap pool surrounded by daybeds, loungers, colorful blooms and shady palms. An expansive lawn called The Green will accommodate stretching, tai chi, yoga and casual gatherings, while a summer kitchen and social patio will host entertaining curated by St. Regis.

Also planned: a serenity garden, a playground for younger residents and a sunset terrace with fire pits overlooking the water. We’d say that’s a fairly persuasive reason to wrap up the workday.

The club will complement 35,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor residential amenities, including a full-service spa, fitness center, private dining room, billiards lounge and children’s entertainment room.

The broader undertaking is substantial. Led by The Related Group, Tate Capital and Rok Acquisitions, the $2 billion, 40-acre development is slated to include a 78-home residential tower, a 122-key hotel and 106 resort residences.

The complex also encompasses a 250-slip deepwater marina accommodating yachts up to 350 feet, Marina Village, a full-service beach club and planned dining and retail accessible to the public. Arquitectonica and London-based Tara Bernerd & Partners lead the architecture and interiors.
