One of South Florida's familiar neighborhood restaurants is getting a fresh identity. Beginning July 22, Batch New Southern Kitchen & Tap officially becomes Batch Local Kitchen, introducing new branding across its three South Florida locations: 525 N. Federal Hwy., Fort Lauderdale; 14813 Lyons Rd., Delray Beach; and 223 Clematis St., West Palm Beach.
While the new name officially debuts July 22, guests have already begun seeing the culinary transformation. The refreshed scratch-made menu started rolling out July 15, bringing lighter fare, seasonal ingredients, specialty coffee, wellness-inspired beverages and an expanded brunch designed to make Batch a destination from morning through happy hour and dinner.
"Restaurants have to evolve, but they should never lose who they are," Kevin Danilo, founder of Batch Hospitality Group, tells Browardist. "Batch Local Kitchen is a reflection of who we've become over the last decade. We're expanding the menu, elevating the experience, and investing in our communities, all while staying true to the handcrafted food and hospitality that our guests know and love."
Among the new signature dishes are Smokehouse Salmon Crispy Rice, Pecan Crusted Rainbow Trout with corn beurre blanc and the Backyard BBQ Protein Bowl featuring brown rice, roasted corn, charred vegetables, beans and a choice of protein. Brunch has also received a major refresh with Farmstand Avocado Toast, the Garden Omelet and Orchard Overnight Oats joining the lineup.
The beverage program has expanded as well, adding handcrafted Vanilla and Matcha Lattes, fresh juices and wellness drinks including the Green Reset and Ginger Wellness Shot. Guests will also find additional nonalcoholic options and spritz-forward cocktails complementing the restaurant's updated direction.
The rebrand reflects Batch's vision of becoming an all-day neighborhood gathering place, whether guests are stopping in for coffee, brunch, lunch, happy hour or dinner. Fort Lauderdale diners can experience the new concept at 525 N. Federal Hwy., while the Delray Beach and West Palm Beach restaurants are also operating under the new Batch Local Kitchen name.
