Clear the calendar, grab the leash and prepare to snack alongside your four-legged best friend. The first-ever Bone Appétit Puppy Brunch arrives Saturday, January 10 at the Loews Miami Beach Hotel, bringing together Miami’s food world and dog-loving community for a sunny afternoon that will seemingly taste as good as it feels.

The event comes from Samantha Schnur, better known as The Naughty Fork (@thenaughtyfork), one of Miami’s most influential food voices and a longtime supporter of rescue organizations. Her goal: combine the city’s most coveted bites with a mission that hits close to home.

“Our mission with Bone Appétit is to bring together two of our greatest passions... incredible food and helping as many dogs as we can,” Schnur tells Browardist. “Having spent years in the food space, I wanted to collaborate with restaurants I truly love. The 11 restaurants that we have on board are some of the most sought-after reservations, celebrity chefs and animal lovers. Together, we’ve created an exclusive lineup of event-only dishes that guests can’t try anywhere else.”

Guests can expect one-day-only dishes from Miami Slice, Apocalypse BBQ, Coyo Taco, Michael’s Genuine, maman, Finka Table & Tap, Sushi Mafia and more. Dogs will be treated too, with healthy bites from Chewy’s new fresh line, plus dog-approved treats, toys and a few surprises. There will also be raffles, pet caricature artists, on-site dog tag engraving and adoptable pups from PAWS4you. The event is in collaboration with brand events specialist Lauren Melamed Fine and carries extra meaning as Schnur’s beloved and often social media-chronicled pup, Kingston, passed earlier this year.

“100% of ticket proceeds will go to Paws4You, a South Florida rescue close to our hearts that we have seen work tirelessly to save, rehabilitate, and rehome abandoned animals,” Schnur adds. “We wanted to work with Paws4You because they are a smaller rescue run by great people in need of a little extra love.”

Tickets are $85 and include unlimited food and drink. More details and tickets at boneappetitmia.com.
