Coconut Creek (and all of Broward): You now have a new stellar bagel option. And, a shot at a year of bagels, too.

Jeff’s Bagel Run has arrived in the 954. The beloved scratch-made bagel brand opens its very first Broward County location in Coconut Creek on Friday, December 5 at 6:30 a.m., marking the company’s 25th shop nationwide and only its second in South Florida. It is located at 6970 N. State Road 7, Suite 105 in Coconut Creek.

Soft-opening (through Thursday, December 4) gives every early bird a free bagel and spread, plus a bonus bagel coupon for anyone who posts about the opening on social media. It is the kind of community-first energy co-founder Jeff Perera says has fueled the brand’s meteoric rise. “Our mission has always been simple: bake fresh, bring joy, and build community,” he tells Browardist. And judging by Broward’s anticipation (more than a thousand folks are interested in the opening on a Facebook event page), that mission is landing.

Grand opening day is where the real bagel madness begins: anyone in line at 6:30 a.m. on Friday, December 5 gets entered into a raffle, and one lucky winner will be pulled at 6:31 a.m. for a year of bagels – a dozen bagels and spreads every month for 12 months. Expect a ribbon cutting at 9 a.m., a spin-to-win prize wheel, meet-and-greets with the bagel mascot and the buzz of Coconut Creek residents finally getting the bagel shop they’ve been asking for.

Perera adds that Coconut Creek was a no-brainer for the brand’s milestone debut. “We’ve always grown in neighborhoods that are welcoming, community-minded, and supportive of local businesses and Coconut Creek fits that perfectly.” He even shares his go-to order: a Rosemary Salt bagel with veggie cream cheese and a Banana Bread Oat Milk Cold Brew — though he admits the cookie butter cream cheese from their holiday lineup is irresistible, too.

Opening weekend continues December 6 and 7 with a free koozie for anyone who orders a large, iced beverage. Broward, rise and shine - your new bagel era starts now.

The spot will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily. The full opening scoop from Jeff’s is on Facebook.
