Carousel Club is gone forever? Not so fast.

For weeks, South Florida rumors have swirled that Carousel Club at Gulfstream Park had closed for good. Not so fast.

While the popular Hallandale Beach outdoor venue is no longer operated by Breakwater Hospitality Group, the space itself isn't going anywhere. Gulfstream Park has assumed full operation of Carousel Club and plans to keep it active with select special events, private bookings and a major slate of FIFA World Cup 2026 watch parties

From June 11 through July 19, Carousel Club will serve as one of South Florida's official FIFA World Cup 2026 watch party destinations in partnership with Michelob ULTRA, Stella Artois and NÜTRL Vodka Seltzer. Fans can catch matches on a massive LED screen and additional TVs throughout the venue while enjoying food, drinks, entertainment and giveaways.

The lineup includes Opening Day on June 11, knockout-round action, semifinals and the FIFA World Cup Final on July 19. Select dates will feature ticket giveaways to coveted matches, including Colombia vs. Portugal and a Round of 32 matchup. Popular South Florida restaurants Pubbelly Sushi and Sergio's are also slated to appear for select matches.

Admission to the watch parties is free. If you RSVP, free swag is promised wihile supplies last.

Perhaps most importantly for fans of the venue, Gulfstream Park says Carousel Club remains available beyond the World Cup.

"Official FIFA World Cup 2026 watch parties are open to the public through July 19th. Following those events, the Carousel Club, as operated by Gulfstream Park, will be open for select special events and private bookings," John Suley, Senior Vice President, Hospitality and Venue, tells Browardist.

The venue's signature open-air setting, positioned alongside Gulfstream Park's racing action, is well intact, folks. While the operating model has changed, the Carousel Club itself remains very much a unique part of the South Florida entertainment landscape.
