Woof, woof, woof! Translation: Your pets want to make a splash.

If your dog lives for a good splash (and let’s be honest, most do), mark your calendar: Chewy is bringing what could be the world’s largest dog pool party to South Florida. The Chewy Summer Social is set for Saturday, May 9 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., taking over Chewy Bark Park on The Underline (4500 Ponce de Leon Blvd in Coral Gables).
The concept is simple and wildly appealing: a morning built around pups, pools, and plenty of ways to keep tails wagging. Expect a dedicated pool party zone where dogs can cool off in Frisco pop-up pools, plus a pop-up shop showcasing the brand’s latest summer toys, apparel, and accessories. There will also be games, music, giveaways, and treats for both pets and their humans, along with Chewy’s Pet Talent Team on-site scouting for future furry stars.
The event is free to attend, though RSVPs are encouraged via Eventbrite to help organizers plan for what could be a record-setting turnout. Dogs must be leashed, up to date on vaccinations, and comfortable in social settings to participate.
Located along The Underline — Miami’s growing urban trail and community space — the venue is easily accessible, with nearby parking and a short walk from the Douglas Road Metrorail station. If weather becomes an issue, updates will be shared ahead of time.
For pet parents, this one easily falls into Worth Traveling For (or, ahem, Woof Traveling For) territory – especially if your dog has been eyeing a pool day of their own.
