A true drag queen is set to take the beach by storm, y'all.

Fort Lauderdale Beach is about to get a heavy dose of charisma, uniqueness, nerve and talent this weekend. Drag royalty Latrice Royale will headline Drag Brunch on the Beach at Señor Frog’s this Sunday, March 15 at 11 a.m., bringing one of the most beloved performers in drag history to the sand.
Best known for her unforgettable runs on RuPaul’s Drag Race and RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars, Latrice Royale has spent decades earning global acclaim for her powerhouse vocals, larger-than-life personality and emotional stage presence. The longtime South Florida performer has become one of the most recognizable figures in modern drag culture, performing around the world while maintaining deep roots in the region.
For fans heading to Fort Lauderdale Beach this weekend, expect a show that’s anything but ordinary.
“Anytime you see a Latrice Royale show, you will go on an exciting journey,” Royale tells Browardist. “The highs and twist and turns of emotions will overtake you. I pride myself on being the type of entertainer that can move your spirit in a way that you won’t be able to contain yourself. If you’re not clapping or screaming and having the time of your life, then I’ve not done my job.”
Sunday’s beachfront spectacle takes place at Señor Frog’s, where Drag Brunch on the Beach has quickly become one of the area’s most popular weekend experiences. Royale will headline the show alongside performers Tayanna Love, British Jay Foxx, TP Lords and Des’ree St. James.
Tickets start at $50 and include the live drag show, brunch and bottomless mimosas, a combination that has helped fuel the event’s rise in popularity. Guests can also upgrade to packages that include preferred seating, open bar options and even a meet-and-greet with Royale herself.
For the legendary queen, the performance is also a bit of a homecoming moment.
“Latrice was born here in South Florida in 1993 at the World-Famous Copa Nightclub,” she says. “I’ve worked up and through this state until I became an international drag icon. Now I’m finally getting a chance to bring that energy back home.”
And yes — she’s teasing surprises.
“I’ve always got something up my sleeve,” Royale adds. “I have a 13-year arsenal of drag that hasn’t been shown here at home!”
