El Car Wash is cruising into triple digits, and Pompano Beach gets the milestone address.
The South Florida-based company will officially celebrate its 100th car wash on Saturday, August 1, at 3685 N. Federal Highway. The new location is already washing wheels during a soft opening and operates daily from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
The August 1 festivities will include appreciation for members and employees while marking the company’s rapid rise. Throughout August, members can also snag a limited-edition celebration-themed air freshener while supplies last.
Led by CEO and co-founder Geoff Karas, El Car Wash has expanded dramatically from the four locations it operated in 2018. Today, its footprint spans Florida, Michigan and the Mid-Atlantic following its acquisition of Baltimore-based Canton Car Wash. The company has also surpassed 500,000 active members.
“Surpassing 100 locations is an incredible milestone, but what makes it meaningful is the impact we’re having in the communities we serve,” Karas tells Browardist. “Broward has always been an important piece of our story, and we’re grateful for the trust our members place in us every day.”
Karas credited the company’s growth to the “passion, hospitality and consistency” of its employees, adding that its focus remains on supporting its team and delivering a memorable customer experience.
The expansion isn’t slowing after Pompano. Two additional Miami locations are scheduled to open in September, followed by new Miramar and Orlando washes in November.
