Pink is about to be the new black around these parts.
Mattel’s first-ever Barbie Dream Fest – a full-scale, multi-sensory celebration of all things Barbie – will debut in the Sunshine State from March 27–29, 2026. The three-day experience will transform the Greater Fort Lauderdale / Broward County Convention Center into Barbie’s world, complete with an IRL Dream House, an ’80s-style roller rink, fashion shows, creative workshops and immersive exhibits aplenty that promise to celebrate imagination, empowerment and oh yes, a whole lot of pink.
Guests will be able to navigate a life-size Dream House, skate under neon lights, get a glittery makeover at a “Totally Hair” Glam Bar or take the runway in a Barbie-inspired fashion show. Panels and exhibits will spotlight barrier-breaking women in STEM, art and culture, while a Limitless Dream Wall will invite fans to share their own dreams.
“Barbie Dream Fest is unlike anything we’ve ever created... a vibrant, multi-sensory celebration that invites fans to step inside the Barbie universe and experience the brand’s impact in new, inspiring ways,” Melissa Anelli, CEO of Mischief Management, tells Browardist. “Fort Lauderdale was the natural choice for our debut as a destination that embodies sunshine, creativity and connection. It’s a place where imagination thrives, making it the perfect backdrop for a festival that celebrates dreaming without limits.”
The event also includes a philanthropic tie-in through The Barbie Dream Gap Project, featuring nonprofit partners like Girls Inc. of Greater Miami, Girls on the Run and Step Up.
Tickets are on sale now at BarbieDreamFest.com.
