A sentence you probably never thought you'd read... the Goo Goo Dolls will soon rock Pier Sixty-Six.

Pier Sixty-Six has hosted yacht shows, luxury events and waterfront celebrations over the years, but this October it's adding something entirely new to its lineup: a Goo Goo Dolls concert.
On Saturday, October 24, the iconic band will headline the 2026 Red Gala benefiting Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital Foundation, transforming the Fort Lauderdale landmark into the backdrop for one of South Florida's biggest philanthropic evenings. While Pier Sixty-Six isn't typically a concert venue, gala attendees will cap off the night with an exclusive performance by the multi-platinum, four-time GRAMMY Award-nominated group behind hits including "Iris," "Slide" and "Name."
Presented by Robins & Morton and chaired by longtime hospital supporters Deana and Andrew Koenig, the evening will also feature a cocktail reception, elegant dinner, inspiring patient stories, silent and live auctions and a special donation moment. Funds raised support advanced technology, innovative research, family-centered programs and other initiatives that enhance care for children and families served by Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital.
The event has become one of South Florida's marquee charitable gatherings. Last year's Red Gala surpassed its fundraising goal, bringing in more than $3 million to support life-saving pediatric care.
Those hoping to attend should be prepared for a gala experience rather than a traditional concert ticket. According to the event website, sponsorship tables seating 10 guests begin at $10,000, with additional sponsorship opportunities available.
