Prepare for adorableness overload.

Happy hour will be a whole lot cuter this week.

On Thursday, July 2, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., Abandoned Pet Rescue is teaming up with Gulf Stream Brewery for Pups & Pints, an evening where cold beer, pizza and adoptable dogs all come together under one woof... ahem, roof.

The brewery is extending its happy hour beer pricing throughout the event, while 20% of all on-site Pizzeria Magaddino pizza sales will benefit Abandoned Pet Rescue, helping the Fort Lauderdale nonprofit continue caring for homeless animals searching for forever families.

Of course, the biggest draw may have four legs and wagging tails.

Several of APR's adoptable pups will be on-site meeting potential adopters, including Ray, Billy, Peele, Josie and Jules. Whether you're actively searching for a new companion or simply want to spend an evening surrounded by some very good boys

and girls, this is your chance to meet a handful of the rescue's current stars in person.

Even if you leave without a leash in hand, every pizza ordered and every pint poured helps support the organization's mission. And if one of these pups steals your heart, your Thursday night could end with a brand-new family member.

Beyond Thursday’s happy hour, Abandoned Pet Rescue visits select Pet Supermarkets throughout the area every Saturday for the first three weeks each month and also has a Yappy Hour event at Aruba Beach Café on Friday, July 29 from 5 to 7 p.m.
