Rock Paper Scissors pros, your moment is here. Start stretching those fingers because Hooters Weston is hosting its inaugural Rock Paper Scissors tournament on Thursday, Aug. 27, beginning at 6 p.m.
The World Rock Paper Scissors Day showdown will take place at Hooters Weston, located at 2282 Weston Road. Entry is free, with competitors able to register at the restaurant on the day of the event. Arriving early would be a wise move for anyone convinced their scissors strategy is unbeatable – solely 64 competitors will be allowed.
Three age divisions will each offer a wonderfully oversized prize.
The winner of the age 10-and-younger bracket will receive one free kids meal per week for 52 weeks, a $312 value. The champion of the 11-to-15 division will score a VIP table for themselves and five friends at the upcoming 2026 Hooters Calendar signing. Those ages 16 and older will battle for 10 free wings per week for 52 weeks, valued at $750.
This marks the first Rock Paper Scissors tournament at the Weston restaurant. Hooters previously hosted the competition at its Cape Coral location and expanded it to Weston and several Southwest Florida restaurants this year.
The evening will also support the Firefighters Benevolent of Davie. Guests who mention the organization to their server will have 20% of their food and beverage purchase donated through Hooters’ Friendraiser program.
