Thanksgiving hits differently when your backdrop is the Atlantic. At Oceanic, perched right on the Pompano Beach Pier, the restaurant’s annual Thanksgiving buffet returns on Thursday, November 27, with families, friends and anyone not interested in sweating over a stove to celebrate by the sea.

There is nothing quite like it as the feast unfolds in the restaurant’s second floor dining room, where floor-to-ceiling windows overlook the shoreline. For $59 per adult and $20 for children 12 and under, guests can help themselves to roasted turkey and prime rib carving stations, fresh seafood like shrimp cocktail, grilled salmon and seared tuna, a full spread of traditional sides, hearty salads, child-friendly favorites and an entire dessert station ready for post-meal lingering.

"We love bringing people together for holidays and special occasions,” Maria Gancarczyk, event manager at Oceanic, tells Browardist. “Our oceanfront setting is one of South Florida’s most memorable backdrops, and we love sharing it with guests who want to celebrate by the sea. For families who want a more relaxed gathering, we still offer our a la carte menu in the main dining room and a special three-course prix fixe menu with all the Thanksgiving staples.”

If you prefer a non-buffet holiday meal, Oceanic’s downstairs dining room will offer its full dinner menu plus a Thanksgiving prix fixe for $49 or turkey dinner plates for $32.

For more coastal holiday vibes, Oceanic’s sister spots, from LM Restaurants, are getting festive too: The Cove in Deerfield Beach will serve a relaxed Intracoastal-side Thanksgiving Feast and Lucky Fish’s Pompano Beach and Dania Beach locations will offer Thanksgiving island-style specials right by the sand.
