Coral Springs is about to get a serious slice of the action as How Ya Dough’n makes its Broward debut. And it’s arriving with a giveaway that’s hard to ignore. The viral sourdough pizza brand will officially open its first Broward County location at Modera Coral Springs (3620 N. University Drive) with an opening weekend extravaganza spanning Friday, April 24 through Sunday, April 26.

Here’s the hook: the first 100 guests during opening weekend will score a free 12-inch pie — any flavor, no purchase required — totaling 300 pizzas over the three-day opening stretch. Families get an extra perk, too, with kids under 12 receiving a complimentary kids-size NY OG pizza with the purchase of an entrée during the weekend.

If the name rings a bell, it should. Founded by husband-and-wife duo Garett and Gabby Goodman, How Ya Dough’n built a cult following from humble backyard pizza drops during the pandemic before expanding into Boca Raton and Las Vegas. Known for its long-fermented sourdough crust — a process that can take up to 12 days — the brand leans into premium ingredients and creative builds like the pistachio-topped pie, the “Drunken Balls” with vodka sauce and meatballs, and its classic NY OG.

The Coral Springs outpost marks a major step in the brand’s South Florida growth, with a third Boca location already in the works for later this year.
