Fort Lauderdale matcha obsessives, clear some room in your caffeine schedule.

Beginning Friday, Sept. 18, Java & Jam will launch a limited-time collaboration with Alma Matcha, bringing four exclusive drinks to its all-day café at 301 East Las Olas Boulevard.

It marks a new Las Olas stop for Alma, the matcha brand founded by Taymir Terrell and Jessica Binder after nearly three years spent sourcing the good green stuff from selected farms and regions.

As for that Java & Jam menu, first up is the Salted Maple ($8), which blends Alma Matcha and milk with pure organic maple and cinnamon, then finishes it with a pinch of salt. The Banana Bread ($8.50) adds house-made banana bread purée for the menu’s nostalgic curveball.

Those who keep their orders classic can opt for the Vanilla ($8), a smooth combination of Alma Matcha, milk and vanilla syrup. Coffee loyalists who are matcha-curious may want to start with the Dirty Matcha ($8.50), which brings together Wells’ espresso, Alma Matcha, milk and vanilla syrup.

The collaboration will be available for a limited time, though an official end date has not been announced. So, if one of these drinks sounds like your new Las Olas order, procrastination could leave you... green with envy.
