JetBlue’s footprint in Broward County continues to grow, and the airline’s latest move will be highly visible to Florida Panthers fans next season.

The carrier and the Panthers have announced a new multi-year extension of their longstanding partnership, one that introduces JetBlue Landing, a new fan destination coming to Amerant Bank Arena for the 2026-27 NHL season.

According to the airline in details provided to Browardist, JetBlue Landing will serve as a dedicated space for exclusive events, special experiences and fan engagement opportunities throughout the season. Additional details are expected ahead of the Panthers’ 2026-27 campaign, but the concept is being positioned as a new way for fans to interact with the organization both on gamedays and beyond.

The partnership expansion also includes JetBlue becoming the presenting partner of the newly reimagined Champions Club at Amerant Bank Arena, further strengthening the airline’s connection to one of Florida’s most recognizable sports brands.

The announcement comes at a notable moment for South Florida aviation. As Browardist previously reported, JetBlue has been rapidly expanding at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport following the collapse and shutdown of Spirit Airlines, long one of the airport’s largest carriers.

JetBlue recently added 11 new destinations from Fort Lauderdale and increased service on several existing routes. Starting July 9, the airline will operate nearly 130 daily departures to more than 55 nonstop destinations from FLL. By year’s end, that figure is expected to climb beyond 150 daily flights from Fort Lauderdale, alongside 34 daily departures from Palm Beach International Airport.

Beyond the arena, the partnership maintains a community focus. JetBlue and the Panthers will continue supporting Broward County Public Schools through their Reading Challenge program. During its inaugural year, the initiative engaged more than 2,600 students, who collectively logged over 675,000 minutes of reading across 116 participating classrooms.
