Knaus Berry Farm has moved. Its cinnamon roll recipe though has not budged.

One of South Florida’s most beloved seasonal rituals is officially back. Knaus Berry Farm will reopen for the season on Monday, December 22, debuting a new home in the Redlands while keeping everything fans actually care about exactly the same. Yes, that includes the famously gooey cinnamon rolls, thick milkshakes, and the patience-testing lines that have become part of the experience.

The new location sits a few miles north of the original Homestead outpost and comes with some long-requested upgrades: more parking, shaded waiting areas, guest bathrooms, and credit card payments. The bakery will also now be open Sundays, while remaining closed on Mondays. Hours run Tuesday through Sunday from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with closures on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.

Despite the move and new ownership, this is very much the same Knaus. The Knaus family remains involved as consultants, longtime bakery manager Thomas Blocher is staying on to help oversee consistency, and even the original 1980s-era shake stand has been refurbished and relocated. The menu board has been recreated by the same artist, and some of the original kitchen equipment made the move, alongside a new oven meant to better handle demand.

That demand, of course, is legendary. In past seasons, wait times have stretched anywhere from 30 minutes to well over two hours during peak weekends, turning a cinnamon roll run into an all-afternoon commitment for devoted fans.

Pricing remains refreshingly unchanged, with cinnamon rolls still under $2 and milkshakes under $9. Local produce will also continue to be sold, though U-Pick strawberries will return next season.

The new location is at 16790 SW 177th Ave. in Miami. To get your Knaus on, visit knausberryfarm.com.
