Broward, your January dining calendar is going to be something else.
The Visit Lauderdale Food & Wine Festival has unveiled its full lineup for January 18–24, 2027, with Marcus Samuelsson headlining seven days of chef collaborations, cooking classes and waterfront eating. Joining him: festival newcomers Bobby Hicks and Hannah Flora, plus returning favorites Jason Smith, Nancy Fuller and Eddie Jackson.
The eighth annual edition includes 12 dining experiences presented by PNC Bank and 14 culinary and beverage classes. Opening night brings Heritage’s Rino Cerbone and Macchialina’s Mike Pirolo together for a $250 dinner at Heritage. Classes cover everything from handrolls and dumplings to pasta, with Smith and Fuller teaming up for Farmhouse Cooking.
The big newcomer is The Feast: An Evening of Italian Culture & Flavor, hosted by Cerbone on Thursday, January 21. Expect unlimited chef tastings, cocktails, wine and live entertainment at Las Olas Intracoastal Promenade Park, 80 Las Olas Circle. Tickets currently cost $90, plus tax and fees. Smith takes over the same waterfront setting for BBQ at the Beach on Friday, January 22, also currently $90.
Saturday’s Grand Tasting lands at Las Olas Oceanside Park, 3000 E. Las Olas Boulevard, with unlimited food and beverage tastings and demonstrations featuring Samuelsson, Smith, Jackson and Flora. General admission runs 1–4 p.m. and currently costs $99; $225 VIP tickets include noon entry and an exclusive lounge.
On Sunday, January 24, Fuller hosts Beachside Brunch with Jackson on the park’s lawn, 1–3:30 p.m., currently $90. The free Picnic in the Park runs noon–4 p.m., with cooking demonstrations, activities and food available for purchase.
Tickets are on sale, and signature-event prices rise as January approaches. Listed signature-event ticket prices exclude tax and fees. A share of every ticket sold benefits Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital.
