From Scarface to Miami Vice, 485 W. Matheson Drive has quite the legacy.

A waterfront estate in Key Biscayne just hit the market with a price tag that’s turning heads well beyond South Florida. Listed at $237 million, 485 W. Matheson Drive would become the most expensive home ever sold in Florida — and the second priciest residential sale in U.S. history if it lands anywhere near ask, according to Realtor.com findings.

Owned by United Capital Markets founder John Devaney and represented by The Jills Zeder Group’s Jill Eber and Judy Zeder, the roughly 13,000-square-foot residence sits on 2.38 acres with a staggering 862 feet of direct Biscayne Bay frontage.

Back in 1969, Richard Nixon purchased the property, transforming it into his private presidential retreat, later dubbed the “Winter White House.” World leaders once arrived via helicopter to its now-reimagined helipad, which today doubles as a massive private marina capable of docking yachts up to 200 feet.

The home has also carved out a place in pop culture history. It served as the residence of Frank Lopez in the 1983 film Scarface and appeared in Miami Vice, with original design elements — including the glass elevator — still intact.

On the grounds, a piano-shaped saltwater pool anchors an expansive lawn framed by mature palms, while more than 500 landscape lights bring the property to life after sunset. Inside, soaring ceilings, marble floors, and floor-to-ceiling glass showcase uninterrupted bay and skyline views. There’s also a self-contained guest apartment, gym, media spaces, and multiple terraces.
