Coral Springs is open with some new flavor. Coral Gables is next.

Mitch’s Downtown is officially back where it all began with some new tricks up its sleeve. The growing South Florida deli brand has opened its newest location at 3334 North University Drive, Suite 8 in Coral Springs, marking a full-circle moment more than two decades after first planting roots in the city.
The new outpost brings a refreshed take on the classic New York-style deli, blending clean, modern design with the same high-energy, neighborhood-driven vibe Mitch’s fans know and love. And there’s a menu that’s expanding right along with the brand.
At its core, Mitch’s is still all about fresh-baked bagels, house-made deli salads and stacked breakfast and lunch staples. But the Coral Springs location is also rolling out newer menu additions that are already gaining traction. Chief among them: a lineup of chicken cutlet sandwiches, including Chicken Parm, Chicken Caesar, Cali Club Cutlet and the Russian Cutlet, all quickly becoming go-to orders.
Don’t consider this a one-off opening, folks. The Coral Springs debut is part of a broader growth push that will soon take the brand into Miami-Dade County for the first time, with a Coral Gables location slated for later this year or early next.
“Since opening, the response from the Coral Springs community has been incredible,” co-founder Adam Shidlofsky tells Browardist. “The support, energy, and early momentum have reinforced our goal of becoming a long-term neighborhood staple.”
With existing locations in Fort Lauderdale, Hallandale Beach and Weston, Mitch’s continues to carve out its place as South Florida’s answer to the classic neighborhood deli with a distinctly modern twist. The spot is open on weekdays from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. and weekends from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
