Arts overload in the best way possible?

Broward’s next cultural obsession could soon be waiting inside the Broward Center for the Performing Arts.

Arts Launch Broward 2026 will bring nearly 90 local arts and cultural organizations together Sunday, Oct. 4, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The free, family-friendly season kickoff takes over the Fort Lauderdale venue with live music, dance, theater, artist showcases and hands-on activities for children and adults.

Attendees can explore programming across the JM Family Studio, Amaturo Theater lobbies and Abdo New River Room. Among the organizations confirmed by Browardist to appear are Bonnet House, Broward Center for the Performing Arts, Coral Springs Museum of Art, Hollywood Art and Culture Center, Island City Stage, Museum of Discovery and Science (MODS), New City Players, NSU Art Museum, Symphony of the Americas and Zero Empty Spaces.

Representatives will preview upcoming performances, exhibitions, festivals, classes and programs across Broward County. Guests can also meet local artists and catch an exclusive load-in preview of Slow Burn Theatre Company’s upcoming production of “Come From Away.”

Admission costs zero dollars, although advance registration is encouraged. If three hours of culture somehow aren’t enough, the event coincides with Fort Lauderdale’s Jazz Brunch at nearby Esplanade Park, making the Riverwalk area an easy arts-filled Sunday destination.

Arts Launch Broward 2026 will be held at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts, 201 SW Fifth Ave. in Fort Lauderdale.
