Giddy up. It'll be a food fest like few others.

Break out the bold hats and seersucker, y’all. Pompano Beach is getting a Derby-inspired culinary takeover. The Greater Pompano Beach Chamber of Commerce’s Fine Food & Wine Celebration: Derby Edition is Saturday, May 2 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Pompano Beach Amphitheater (1806 NE 6th St), morphing The Amp into a high-style tasting playground.

The annual event, now a staple since 2009 and with support from BrightStar Credit Union, leans all the way into its Kentucky Derby theme this year with festive fashion, live entertainment, and a champagne kickoff before guests dive into unlimited tastings.

Expect bites and pours from a stacked lineup of local and national names including Cove Brewery, Sea Watch on the Ocean, Baresco, Harrah’s Pompano Beach, Raising Cane’s and more, alongside curated wines, craft beer, premium spirits, and Derby-themed cocktails.

“The Fine Food & Wine Celebration has been a staple community event since its inception in 2009, growing into one of the Chamber’s most anticipated gatherings each year,” Evencia Javier, CEO of the Greater Pompano Beach Chamber of Commerce, tells Browardist.

Beyond the plates and pours, the night doubles as a community showcase with a silent auction and raffle benefiting local initiatives, so your indulgence comes with a side of impact.

Tickets start at $125 (early bird pricing of $115 available through April 10), with group packages for four at $450.
