Rick Case Arena in Davie is officially untouchable.
The No. 1 ranked Nova Southeastern Sharks men's basketball team just notched its 99th consecutive home victory, edging Rollins Tars men's basketball 75-69 in a nailbiter at Crutchfield Court inside Rick Case Arena in Fort Lauderdale. With the win, the Sharks continue to transform their home floor into one of the most dominant environments in college hoops.
And they’re now one game away from history.
Senior guard Dallas Graziani poured in 35 points, including a dagger three with 1:26 remaining to reclaim the lead for good. Ross Reeves added 14, Ryan Davis chipped in 11 with eight rebounds and five steals, and NSU closed it out at the free-throw line to preserve perfection at home. Notably, no player on the current roster has ever lost a game inside Rick Case Arena.
Now, the Sharks will go for their 100th straight home win during the Sunshine State Conference (SSC) quarterfinal on Tuesday, March 3 at 7:30 p.m. If they get it done, Nova Southeastern will be the first college program to hit a 100-game home winning streak since the Kentucky Wildcats did so in the 1950s. The Wildcats’ streak lasted 130 games and from January 1943 through January 1955.
Beyond the streak, the stakes are massive. NSU is chasing its second consecutive NCAA Division II National Championship, its third in four seasons and a fifth straight SSC Tournament title. First up: a regular-season finale on the road at Florida Southern Moccasins men's basketball before returning home with history on the line.
