Beach day, meet steak dinner… all in the same spot. Outback Steakhouse is setting up at Charnow Park on Thursday, October 1, with freshly prepared sirloin for beachgoers to try while supplies last.
Browardist is told the one-day stop will include a “Spokesbooth,” where guests can take a seat, taste the steak and give their honest, unfiltered reactions on camera. Outback plans to use the footage in its Best Steaks Ever campaign, so your first bite could wind up in an ad. The restaurant is also teasing a surprise at the park, though it hasn’t said what that will be.
Find the pop-up at Charnow Park, 300 Connecticut St., along the Hollywood Beach Broadwalk. Outback’s event listing gives the hours as 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Definitely check the Facebook event page before heading over - arriving early may also improve your chances of getting a sample.
