Palm Beach Food & Wine Festival (PBFWF) season has officially arrived, and festival director David Sabin says the magic happens long before the first Champagne cork pops.

“Plan your schedule early, but leave room for spontaneity,” he tells Browardist. “Some of the most unforgettable moments at PBFWF happen between the official bites and pours. Give yourself the freedom to wander, taste and let the festival surprise you.”

That element of surprise is exactly what fuels the 18th annual edition, running Thursday, December 11 through Sunday, December 14. This year’s lineup is stacked with star power, world-class pours and fresh experiences designed to make even seasoned festivalgoers rethink how they feast.

The buzziest new addition is Par-Tee at The Park, a Saturday daytime tasting in West Palm Beach featuring Jason Van Bomel and an all-star crew: Ashley Christensen, Leah Cohen, Elizabeth Falkner, Stephanie Izard, Mike Lata, Beau MacMillan and Alex Seidel. It’s stroll, sip and socialize energy at its peak – tickets are $225.

Also new – and sold out as of press time – is Bubbles & Bites: A Yacht Rock Experience at PGA National Resort, with bubbles, cocktails, a lineup of culinary heavyweights and a sunset soundtrack of breezy ‘70s and ‘80s yacht rock. Expect Nina Compton, Joe Flamm, the Forgiones, Sarah Grueneberg, Mason Hereford, Chris Shepherd, Stephen Stryjewski and Maggie Scales serving the kind of bites that have group chats buzzing by morning.

The festival caps off with the 18th Annual Grand Tasting, bringing more than 50 top chefs, over 100 Wine Spectator–approved wines and the Grand Chef Throwdown judged by Maneet Chauhan, Tiffani Faison and Robert Irvine. Tickets are $229.

Sabin says this year is set to raise the bar. “More star chefs, more exclusive Wine Spectator pairings, more intimate moments and more chances to experience the kind of hospitality that only Palm Beach can offer,” he says. “2025 is shaping up to be the most inspired and unforgettable festival in our history.”
