Hallandale Beach’s dining scene is getting a new player with serious pedigree and a front-row seat to the water. Patrizia’s Waterfront officially opens Friday, April 17, 2026, introducing the beloved Italian brand’s signature hospitality to a dockside setting built for long dinners that turn into even longer nights.

Located along the Intracoastal in Hallandale Beach at 1975 S. Ocean Drive, the new outpost marks the latest chapter for Patrizia’s, the family-owned concept founded by brothers Giacomo and Gennaro Alaio. Born in Naples and raised in Brooklyn, the duo built the brand on old-school Italian recipes, big portions and an atmosphere that leans festive from the first toast.

Since opening its first location in the Bronx in 1991, Patrizia’s has expanded across the Tri-State area, Florida and Aruba, earning a loyal following along the way. Patrizia’s has two additional Broward locations – in Deerfield Beach and in Fort Lauderdale.

This new waterfront location takes things in a slightly different direction. While the core menu remains rooted in Neapolitan tradition, the space itself introduces a more polished, modern feel paired with direct water access. Yes, that means dock-and-dine is officially in play – so, pull up by boat, grab a table and settle in.

The South Florida expansion is led by Emerson Insfran, who started with the company at just 15 years old and now helps steer its growth, alongside executive chef and partner Sammy Anthony Reyes, a longtime fixture within the brand. Together, they’re leaning into what makes this location stand out: a setting designed to keep guests lingering well past dinner.

“Our goal with Patrizia’s Waterfront was to create more than just a restaurant... we wanted to build a complete dining experience,” Emerson Insfran, partner and operator of Patrizia’s Waterfront, tells Browardist. “Between the waterfront setting, the energy of the space, and the quality of the food, this location brings something unique and elevated to Hallandale Beach. It is a place where people can come for dinner and stay for the atmosphere, the music, and the overall vibe.”
