If you needed a delicious excuse to plan a Miami trip in mid-January, Komodo just handed you one on a silver platter. The Brickell hotspot is rolling out Duck Week, a limited-time dining experience built around its cult-favorite Peking duck, and yes, it is absolutely worth the journey.
Running Monday, January 12 through Sunday, January 18, Duck Week celebrates Peking Duck Day (January 18) with a tightly curated, duck-driven multi-course menu that shows off Komodo’s kitchen at full flex. The experience is ticketed at $145 per person and includes the full set menu plus exclusive Duck Club hat merchandise.
The menu reads like a dream for duck lovers. It kicks off with a Duck Salad layered with crispy duck, Asian pear, pomegranate and Thai passion fruit vinaigrette, alongside Hamachi Serrano brightened with citrus, crispy garlic and cilantro.
From there, things get indulgent with Peking Duck Spring Rolls, Duck Croquettes packed with charred corn and poblano peppers, and the star of the show: half a perfectly lacquered Peking duck served with Duck Fried Rice topped with an over-easy duck egg, bean sprout, scallion and togarashi. Dessert leans playful with a “Rubber Ducky” flan finished with caramel and citrus gelée.
Komodo is part of Groot Hospitality, the empire from nightlife and dining mainstay David Grutman, whose portfolio also includes Casadonna, Gekko, LIV and Papi Steak.
