Fort Lauderdale Beach continues to cement its status as a serious luxury residential destination, and its latest announcement may be one of the most significant yet. This morning, developers announced The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Fort Lauderdale Beach, a boutique, dual-tower residential project set to rise directly between the Atlantic Ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway—one of the most coveted stretches of waterfront in the city.

Planned for 551 Bayshore Drive, the 13-story development will feature just 83 private residences, positioning it squarely in the ultra-luxury, low-density category buyers are craving. Prices are expected to start at $2.5 million, signaling serious intent while still undercutting some of the splashier mega-towers nearby.

The project is being developed by MICL and Admire Capital, with sales and marketing exclusively handled by Douglas Elliman Development Marketing. Design-forward credentials are strong: architecture by Garcia Stromberg and interiors by Dan Fink Studio, including modern coastal elegance with The Ritz-Carlton’s globally recognized service standards.

Residences will include two- and three-bedroom layouts with dens, ranging from approximately 1,550 to 3,480 square feet, plus six penthouses with ceilings reaching up to 11 feet. Floor-to-ceiling glass, expansive private terraces, and select homes offering dual ocean and Intracoastal views underscore the project’s indoor-outdoor lifestyle pitch.

Amenities read like a five-star resort checklist: landscaped gardens, lap and leisure pools, private cabanas, an outdoor bar pavilion, limited dock slips along the Intracoastal, and a wellness-focused spa featuring steam, sauna, and cold plunges. Residents will also enjoy a state-of-the-art fitness center, dedicated wellness consultant, resident lounge, screening room and more.

Of course, the Ritz-Carlton name brings its signature service - 24-hour valet, concierge, and lifestyle coordination - plus ownership perks through Marriott’s ONVIA program, unlocking elevated global travel and bespoke experiences.

Bottom line: it’s another defining moment for Fort Lauderdale Beach’s luxury residential evolution.
