Broward County, your ceviche era has officially arrived. South Florida-bred CVI.CHE 105 is opening its very first Broward location on Thursday, February 12, landing inside the ultra-busy Sawgrass Mills in Sunrise. It’s a major milestone for the beloved Peruvian restaurant group and a big culinary win for one of the world’s most visited shopping destinations.
Founded in Downtown Miami in 2008 by acclaimed Peruvian chef Juan Chipoco, CVI.CHE 105 has grown from a single hotspot into one of South Florida’s most recognizable dining brands. Known for its vibrant atmosphere, bold flavors and deeply rooted Peruvian hospitality, the concept has built a loyal following across Miami-Dade and Palm Beach counties, with locations in Downtown Miami, South Beach, Aventura, Coral Gables, Dadeland and Boca Raton.
The new Sawgrass Mills outpost marks the brand’s seventh South Florida location and its very first step into Broward County. Designed to feel both elevated and approachable, the restaurant will showcase CVI.CHE 105’s signature ceviches, classic Peruvian plates and handcrafted cocktails inspired by Peru’s rich culinary heritage. It will all be available in a setting built to welcome locals and the mall’s massive international crowd.
The Broward debut also comes during a moment of serious momentum for the brand. In addition to Sawgrass Mills, CVI.CHE 105 recently announced upcoming expansions to Atlanta’s Phipps Plaza and San Juan, Puerto Rico, its most ambitious growth plan in the brand’s 17-year history. The move positions Chipoco and his team as global ambassadors of Peruvian cuisine, while keeping their roots firmly planted in South Florida.
