A big dose of South Florida has arrived in Atlanta.

South Florida’s nightlife playbook just landed in Atlanta. Fort Lauderdale–based hospitality powerhouse The Restaurant People (TRP) officially opened Jagger Suite on March 6, marking the group’s very first concept outside its home market.

Perched on the 10th floor of the brand-new Moxy Atlanta Downtown, Jagger Suite brings the same high-energy rooftop formula that’s helped define South Florida’s nightlife scene. The space channels a Studio 54–inspired vibe with immersive touches, including a dramatic 12-foot disco unicorn anchoring the venue. Guests can flow between a covered lounge and an open-air terrace, where rotating DJs and curated cocktails keep the vibes shifting from sunset drinks to late-night shenanigans.

But there’s another layer tucked inside. A reservation-only speakeasy called The Powder Room sits hidden within the venue, accessed via keycard. The intimate hideaway features its own cocktail program and futuristic design aesthetic, creating a nightlife-within-nightlife experience.

For South Florida locals, the name behind it should sound familiar. Founded in Fort Lauderdale in 1997, TRP has spent more than 25 years shaping the region’s dining and nightlife landscape. The group has developed more than 90 hospitality concepts and is led by CEO and co-founder Tim Petrillo, co-founder and culinary director Chef Peter Boulukos, co-founder Alan Hooper, president Aaron Abramoff, COO Stavros Florias, and operating partner Alan Roth.

The company operates some of the area’s most recognizable destinations, including YOLO, S3, Boatyard, Java & Jam, Casablanca Cafe, and Rooftop @ 1WLO. In recent years, TRP has also helped define the modern rooftop scene with venues like Rosa Sky and Giselle in Miami and Nubé in Fort Lauderdale.

Atlanta marks the company’s first step in exporting that formula beyond South Florida. And if Jagger Suite is any indication, travelers heading to ATL now have a new rooftop worth seeking out... especially if you appreciate a little South Florida flair with that skyline cocktail.
