There’s about to be a whole lot of orange-tinted cocktails flowing through Flagler Village this weekend. Patio Bar & Pizza is kicking off its new “Spritz Summer” series with a two-day party packed with Aperol tastings, giveaways and Italian coast-inspired vibes.
The Spritz Summer Kickoff takes place Saturday, May 23 and Sunday, May 24 from 5 to 7 p.m., though happy hour specials will run from 3 to 7 p.m. each day. Guests who RSVP in advance can score a complimentary Aperol Spritz tasting while supplies last. The event will also feature music, themed décor, cocktail sampling, photo moments and giveaways spread throughout the patio space.
The featured spritz lineup includes Aperol Spritzes, Campari Spritzes and Hugo Spritzes — basically the kind of drinks that make Fort Lauderdale suddenly feel like the Amalfi Coast for an afternoon.
The kickoff also launches Patio’s ongoing Spritz Summer specials, which will continue throughout the season. During weekend happy hour, guests can snag $11 spritzes alongside deals including $4 off pizzas, $3 off spirits, $2 off wine and $1 off beer. Pair those cocktails with the restaurant’s seed oil-free sourdough pizzas, salads and shareables and you’ve got one of the more interesting patio hangs heading into Memorial Day weekend.
The event is 21+ only. Free parking is available behind Progresso Plaza, though ride shares are encouraged
