Sweet Aloha Ice Cream is returning to one of Broward County’s most electric food events with two brand-new flavors debuting at Wok ’n Roll, the Asian night market–inspired experience that’s part of the Visit Lauderdale Food & Wine Festival (VLFWF). The family-owned, veteran-owned Davie shop will introduce Tiger Tea Boba and Mango Sticky Rice on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at the waterfront Las Olas Intracoastal Promenade Park, and they’re already shaping up to be among the most buzzed-about bites of the festival.

Hosted by celebrity chef Clarice Lam and curated in partnership with Two Happy Buddhas, Wok ’n Roll blends sizzling Asian street food, live music and high-energy night market vibes, all while benefiting Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital. Sweet Aloha’s new creations lean fully into the event’s theme, remixing familiar Asian-inspired desserts with the brand’s tropical, homemade approach.

Tiger Tea Boba features chewy boba pearls folded into creamy, tea-infused ice cream, while Mango Sticky Rice reimagines the beloved Thai dessert as a lush, tropical scoop built for sharing and social buzz. Sweet Aloha owner Jimmy Anderson collaborated closely with his friend Chi K. Chan, executive chef at Red Pine Restaurant, to bring the flavors to life.

“Participating in Wok ’n Roll is a fantastic opportunity for Sweet Aloha Ice Cream to connect with the vibrant South Florida food community and showcase our bold, tropical-inspired creations alongside top Asian culinary talent,” Anderson tells Browardist. “Events like this allow us to expand our reach, introduce new audiences to the aloha spirit we pour into every scoop and reinforce our mission of spreading smiles through high-quality, homemade treats.”

“I’m also thrilled to be partnering with Chef Chi to bring these fresh, fusion-inspired flavors to Wok ’n Roll,” he added. “After the surprise hit of Wasabi Ice Cream at the inaugural event, I can’t wait to see attendees’ reactions to Tiger Tea Boba and Mango Sticky Rice.”

Beyond the Wok ‘n Roll event, Sweet Aloha Ice Cream is hosting a basics of ice cream class as part of VLFWF, which is sold out as of press time.
