If your mid-week checklist includes free drinks, karaoke and the possibility of watching someone attempt “Bohemian Rhapsody” after several cocktails, Brickell is calling.
Sweet Caroline Karaoke Bar is celebrating its eighth anniversary on Thursday, July 23, with a birthday bash built for loud voices and thirsty singers. The Brickell staple opens at 6 p.m., when karaoke begins, followed by a complimentary two-hour open bar from 8 to 10 p.m.
RSVPs are available for the celebration, though snagging one does not include a table reservation. The night will also bring plenty of singing and dancing at the venue, which has built its reputation around nightly karaoke, a full cocktail menu and groups ranging from bachelorette crews to corporate outings.
Located at 1111 SW 1st Ave. in Miami, the Brickell bar normally operates from 6 p.m. to 3 a.m. on Sundays and Mondays and 6 p.m. to 4 a.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays.
And if one Sweet Caroline isn't enough, there is now a second Miami location. The Wynwood outpost at 2445 N. Miami Ave. is open Wednesday through Saturday from 7 p.m. to 3 a.m., with nightly karaoke, giant Disco Bowl cocktails and a setting designed for group nights and camera rolls. The Wynwood location will not host the July 23 anniversary celebration.
