Talkin’ Tacos is rolling its bold, birria-forward fiesta into Coconut Creek, and co-founder and CEO Omar Al-Massalkhi calls it a milestone rooted in gratitude.

“Growing a brand in the same community where it was born is something I’ll never take for granted,” he tells Browardist. “South Florida gave us our start, our identity and the confidence to build a concept unlike anything else in fast-casual dining. We’re incredibly proud of how far we’ve come and even more excited for what’s ahead.”

That next chapter begins Friday, December 5 at 6870 State Road-7 North., where Talkin’ Tacos will fire up grand opening festivities starting at 6 p.m. The first 100 guests score a free order of signature Birria Tacos, a Jarritos drink and exclusive merch. Expect a DJ, LED Robot, photo ops and, from December 8 to 11, free meals for local first responders.

The new 2,400-square-foot restaurant seats 60 inside and 12 outside, spotlighted by neon signage and hand-painted murals. Guests can order via self-serve kiosks and dive into a Halal Mexican menu stacked with Talkin’ Tacos hits: Birria Tacos, Mahi Mahi Burritos, Birria Ramen, Street Corn in a Cup and seasonal steals like Birria Mac N Cheese and Pumpkin Horchata. Yes, the beef birria is slow-braised 12 hours daily. Yes, the churros are loaded. And yes, the Tajín and Chamoy gummies slap.

As Talkin’ Tacos crosses 32 locations nationwide from Florida to Texas to DC, Coconut Creek is just one stop on a seriously spicy expansion tour. Coming soon: Davie (late December), Miami Springs (in early 2026... and with the company’s first drive-thru) and South Beach (early 2026).
