Circle this Saturday, November 8, on the calendar. One of the region’s most meaningful and genuinely delicious food events is back. Taste of Recovery returns to the American German Club in Lake Worth from 4 to 7 p.m., gathering some of Palm Beach County’s favorite restaurants for an afternoon built on flavor and community support.

Founded by Chef Louie Bossi and backed by Big Time Restaurant Group, the festival has grown into a feel-good culinary tradition where guests stroll, sample and swap bites with friends old and new. But at its core, Taste of Recovery is about something bigger.

The event directly benefits The Crossroads Club in Delray Beach, a nonprofit that has served as a safe space for people navigating addiction for more than 40 years. Crossroads is not a treatment center. It operates as a community hub, offering daily meetings and support for more than 700 people choosing recovery every single day.

"In its seventh year, Taste of Recovery has evolved into one of South Florida's premier culinary experiences, bringing together our finest chefs for a fantastic evening of food and entertainment. This year will be our most impactful yet, as we anticipate a sold-out crowd of nearly a thousand people, raising critical funds to support the 700 individuals per day who rely on The Crossroads Club for their recovery journey," Dylan Morgan, Executive Director of Crossroads Club, tells Browardist.

Expect bites from Elisabetta’s, Louie Bossi’s, Louie’s Hot Chicken, Art Basil Restaurant, J&J Seafood Bar and Grill, City Cellar, Motor City Pizza, Taco Tuesday’s Taqueria and Pure Life Fitness Cafe. Guests will vote for the People’s Choice Award while local critics crown the Critics’ Choice winner.

Tickets are $65 in advance via eventbrite.com or $75 at the door.
