Pumpkin pancakes and a mimosa cart only scratch the surface of The Diplomat's Turkey Day and weekend happenings.

Thanksgiving weekend at The Diplomat Beach Resort is looking less like stress and more like a shoreline staycation with perks, especially the two-day brunch coming to Palmea on Black Friday and that Saturday. While everyone else elbows their way through doorbusters, this spread lets you sleep in, sip slow and graze your way into holiday bliss.

Executive Sous Chef Michelle Milz tells Browardist, “We wanted Thanksgiving to feel effortless and memorable, blending modern twists with tradition. Guests can expect signature Diplomat touches... fresh, chef-driven and thoughtfully crafted with flavors inspired by the season. We took the flavors everyone loves and infused them with local ingredients and bold techniques.”

Those touches shine brightest at Thanksgiving Weekend Brunch, running Friday, November 28 and Saturday, November 29 from 7 a.m. to noon. The $55 buffet stars pumpkin pancakes, pineapple country ham, smoked salmon, a parfait trio, omelets made to order, charcuterie and Executive Pastry Chef Henry Martignago’s seasonal sweets. Add the unlimited mimosa cart ($35) and you’ve got the ultimate “treat yourself” move for the long weekend.

The rest of the holiday lineup plays its part, too. On Wednesday, November 26, The Hotel Bar goes full “beach casual Thanksgiving,” serving roasted parsnip and apple soup, charred carrot and pumpkin salad, grain mustard crusted turkey and a trio of desserts — all just steps from the sand. No reservations needed for this one.

For something dressier, Diplomat Prime serves a refined Thanksgiving Day dinner (Thursday, November 27) with dishes like bourbon beef tataki and a turkey roulade stuffed with wagyu picadillo and sweet plantain. So, whether you’re craving ham and pancakes, a beachside bite or a steakhouse spin on tradition, The Diplomat is making the long weekend deliciously easy.
