Woof, woof, woof. Translation: Your pup want to go to this.

Mark your calendars (and leash up accordingly): the fifth annual Paws Patio Food Fest is back on Saturday, April 4, bringing a full-on puppy “pawty” to the bayfront at InterContinental Miami (100 Chopin Plaza).

Running from 1 to 4 p.m. on the hotel’s scenic Picante Terrace, the event transforms the waterfront space into a buzzing pet-friendly marketplace packed with treats, tastings and tail-wagging energy. And yes, while InterContinental Miami is known for being one of the most pet-friendly hotels around — and even named Newsweek’s No. 1 pet-friendly hotel in the U.S. — this one is open to everyone, not just overnight guests.

Worth noting for Broward folks: the hotel sits just about a mile from the Brightline Miami station, making this an easy car-free adventure.

Admission is free for humans, while pups get in for $25, which unlocks a “Fur-ever Passport of Treats” loaded with goodies from local vendors like Britsboards, Yum Pup, Raw Instincts, Lulu & Bellas Bakeshop, Doggie Bakery Miami and more. Expect unlimited pup cups, treat samples and plenty of sniff-worthy surprises.

Hosted by doggie influencer duo Pretzel and Gummy Bear Shih Tzus, the afternoon also features puppy playdates, photo ops and a few feel-good moments thanks to Rescue Paws FL, which will host raffles supporting its rescue efforts. Chewy is also getting in on the action with tastings from its “Get Real” food line and a Chewy Vet Care pop-up.

And if you can’t make the big event, know this: Paws Patio isn’t just a once-a-year spectacle. It’s a weekly Wednesday gathering from 5 to 7 p.m., where pups sip complimentary pup cups, humans grab cocktails and the Bayside Terrace turns into one of Miami’s most social dog parks with skyline and Biscayne Bay views.
