If there were an official trophy for “most dazzling holiday house in Broward County,” this Oakland Park home would be clearing space on the mantel. The Holiday House in Oakland Park has once again gone absolutely all-in for the season, transforming its front yard into a glowing, joy-packed spectacle that feels equal parts winter wonderland, holiday mash-up and neighborhood tradition.
Located at 798 NE 38th Street, the Oakland Park home is impossible to miss once the sun goes down. We’re talking thousands of twinkling lights, hundreds of blow-up characters, the Abominable Snowmonster front and center and a rotating cast of festive figures that stretch from the roofline to the sidewalk. There’s even a walk-through element woven into the front yard, making it feel more like a holiday attraction than a single-family home.
What truly sets this display apart is its inclusivity and creativity. Alongside Christmas cheer, you’ll spot nods to Hanukkah and other celebrations, reflecting the spirit of the household behind it all. And this isn’t just a December thing. The homeowners are known for decorating year-round, rolling out themed displays for Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day, Easter, Cinco de Mayo, Memorial Day, Pride Month, Fourth of July, summer, Hanukkah, Halloween and, of course, their show-stopping Christmas setup.
A quick heads-up for visitors: parking can get a little tight right near the house and there is technically no street parking in most of Oakland Park’s residential areas. Your best bet is street parking near Wag Park or Richard E. Giusti Heart Par Cours Park a few blocks west, around 600 NE 38th Street, and then enjoying a short stroll over.
