There’s a new reason to head north this holiday season (but not that north, y’all). And, it comes with wine, waves and a little winter magic on the sand.
The Singer Oceanfront Resort along Riviera Beach (just north of West Palm Beach) has unveiled beach igloos, a luxe coastal pop-up evoking seaside serenity with holiday sparkle. Created in partnership with Napa Valley’s Caymus Vineyards, the domed hideaways offer cozy blankets, festive décor and panoramic ocean views for up to six guests.
Inside each igloo, guests can indulge in a curated menu of shareable bites from Caretta Caretta’s Executive Chef Winston Guerrero. On the menu are a whipped feta with chili oil, baba ghanoush, kofta skewers and a seafood board stacked with tuna poke, pastrami salmon, shrimp cocktail and octopus carpaccio. Add in a Roman-style personal pizza and a pour (or three) of Caymus wine and you’ve got yourself Browardist-approved, worth-traveling-for beachside bliss.
“From romantic evenings to family outings, our beach igloos are perfect for any holiday celebration and offer a one-of-a-kind way to kick off the holiday season by the sea,” Derek Shelly, General Manager of The Singer Oceanfront Resort, tells Browardist “Guests can enjoy festive décor, sweeping ocean views and an expertly curated menu of bites.”
Beyond the igloos, The Singer is decking the halls with festive holiday dining at Caretta Caretta - from Thanksgiving to New Year’s – and has a vast beachfront pavilion for larger gatherings.
The Beach Igloos opened for reservations on November 1 via ResortPass. Consider this your winter beach getaway... no passport or parka required, folks.
