It's on, y'all.

South Florida, prepare to smash some buzzers and discover which friend absolutely cannot handle losing. (Ahem, Browardist editor Jesse Scott may be one of them.)
Great Big Game Show will open at Dania Pointe at “the end of August,” in materials provided to Browardist, placing guests inside a studio-style competition complete with a live host, stage lighting, music and the glorious pressure of having everyone watch while you attempt something probably ridiculous.
Groups of up to 14 contestants divide into two teams for a fast-paced, one-hour showdown. Each session pulls from a rotating collection of 17-plus mini-games covering trivia, strategy, speed and reflexes. The lineup includes things like Trivia Temple, Blaster Blitz, Drawing in the Dark, Spin Out, Build It Up and Split Decision.
Translation here... one minute, you may be answering questions under the lights. The next, you could be firing foam blasters, drawing without seeing your work or racing through a physical challenge while your friends loudly question every possible decision you make.
It is built for birthdays, corporate outings, family gatherings, dates and friend groups ready to establish that permanent pecking order. New challenges are also added regularly. The Dania Beach studio will be the concept’s first South Florida location following a spring opening in Orlando.
Right next door, sibling concept The Escape Game will debut five 60-minute adventures including The Heist, The Depths, Cosmic Crisis, Legend of the Yeti and Ruins: Forbidden Treasure. Count on cinematic sets, custom props and layered puzzles.
The Dania Pointe venue joins existing The Escape Game locations at Sawgrass Mills in Sunrise and Brickell City Centre in Miami, among others.
