Halloween night promises to be a little tipsier thanks to COYO Taco’s Fort Lauderdale outpost, nestled at 401 E. Las Olas Blvd., Suite 150. On Friday, October 31, the street-style taqueria will transform into a haunted party, decked out with spooky décor, specialty cocktails and a deal that’s downright devilish: a free shot for anyone in costume. No strings attached.

The Las Olas location will also roll out an extended happy hour from 4 to 10 p.m., making it the perfect pit stop before hitting Himmarshee, venturing over to Room 901. downtown or catching a golf cart or Circuit to the beach. You can also start (or finish) your night with select $7 top-shelf margaritas and palomas made with tequila, grapefruit soda, lime and agave — or level up with a $35 flight board featuring tequila, mezcal and sotol.

Tacos, naturally, are part of the trick-or-treat lineup. COYO’s signature handhelds will run $4 each, including the fan-favorite Al Pastor with marinated pork, roasted pineapple, and cotija cheese; Pollo al Carbon with grilled chicken and pico de gallo; and Cochinita Pibil, a Yucatan-style roasted pork topped with pickled red onion.

And if your Halloween plans take you farther south, COYO’s Wynwood and Coral Gables speakeasies will be slinging themed cocktails like the Monster Margarita and Lychee of the Dead… all while doling out that same free shot to guests in costume.

Confirmed: No RSVP needed and no cover here. More details at coyo-taco.com.
