South Beach may be in its name, but there's some Broward action, too.

Broward is back on the menu for the South Beach Wine & Food Festival in 2027, and this time, there will be babka, mahjong and a couple of familiar Fort Lauderdale faces.
The 26th annual festival runs February 25-28, 2027, with more than 90 events across South Florida. Three Broward experiences are on the calendar, spanning Hallandale Beach and Fort Lauderdale.
On Sunday, February 28, Bakey Babka will host a Babka-Making Master Class in Hallandale Beach, giving attendees a hands-on opportunity to master the beloved swirled pastry.
Meanwhile, Fort Lauderdale's Wan's Mandarin House is getting in on the action with Mahjong & Mingle on Saturday, February 27, and Sunday, February 28. Both sessions begin at noon, bringing the classic tile-based game to the longtime Chinese restaurant.
The Broward appearances follow a 2026 festival that also included three major Fort Lauderdale events, continuing the traditionally Miami-centric festival's push north.
And the broader festival's numbers are pretty stellar. More than 500 chefs, culinary personalities and industry tastemakers are expected, while the Grand Tasting Village alone will feature bites from more than 45 restaurants and upwards of 1,200 products to sample. Among the culinary heavyweights on the lineup are Guy Fieri, Rachael Ray, Aarón Sánchez, Andrew Zimmern and Marcus Samuelsson. Returning favorites include Burger Bash, Tournament of Champions LIVE and Tacos & Tequila.
There's a good cause behind all the eating, too. The festival has raised more than $46 million for Florida International University's Chaplin School of Hospitality & Tourism Management, with more than 1,500 students gaining hands-on experience annually.
Tickets went on sale November 2, with additional programming announcements expected.
